How to share someone else’s picture/video on your Facebook page
Creating a Facebook ad based on that post
In this video, I show you a neat little trick that allows you to make a Facebook ad from a picture or video that was put up by someone else. So if you see a really good video that you like that applies to your niche, you can use that video in your own Facebook ad! Here’s how:
First, you need to find the post that you liked, usually from a sponsored ad. Let’s suppose there is a really cool ClickFunnels video that I like and see on my news feed.
What I can do now is actually SHARE this video onto my main Facebook page, and write down something about it. So I can say something like ‘hey, have you guys seen this?
Really awesome way to start doing xxx if you are struggling in xxx… to see the full thing just click on this link’ and you would attack the link to your own site or URL. After you do this, the post will be shared onto that page you indicated, so you can go on your page to see what it will look like.
You can also add a comment to make your site stand out, something along the lines of ‘if you still haven’t checked it out, click here!’
Now that you have done that, we can start creating our ad. Keep in mind you cannot do a video views campaign objective ad nor a traffic objective ad, since Facebook requires you to have your own video for the former, and requires a call-to-action button for the latter.
But a page post engagement and conversion objective campaign should be more than enough for what we need to at least see how the ad will perform. If it performs well for a PPE campaign then we can create a conversion campaign objective after.
